Over the years, Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, Aaron Burckhard, Dale Crover, Dave Foster, Chad Channing, Jason Everman, Dan Peters and one others played in the group. The collection holds three albums by the group, released between 1991 and 1994: Nevermind (1991), In Utero (1993) and MTV Unplugged In New York (1994). Five records reached the Dutch Top 40. The highest was Smells Like Teen Spirit: number 3 in week 1 of 1992.
